Got a hardy hoot out of the many reviewers who disliked this product! My pasta dryer came free when I bought my Atlas pasta maker about fifteen years ago. This thing is ingenious...really perfect for the job at hand. If you assemble it right the rack just folds up flat and... like others I store the dowels with a rubber band.
I LOVE how easy it is to lay the pasta onto the dowel right from the machine and then drop the pasta from the individual dowels right into the boiling water. It would be very difficult to make pasta with out this handy device. We use it often because we make pasta several times a month and when guests arrive they LOVE to help with the process!

Perfect for drying pasta. Comes with 12 dowels. 12 " x 13" x 15" high.Making your own pasta is enough of an adventure without having to find places to hang it out to dry. That's what all those clotheslines in Italy are used for when they're not drying clothes. This wooden rack takes about 10 minutes to put together (really) with a Phillips screwdriver. It stands 15 inches high, and has 12 wooden dowels upon which you can hang your fettuccine, spaghetti, capellini, and the like. Go for it. Making fresh pasta is fun and worth it--and if it doesn't work out, you can always use it to hang your socks out to dry. Ciao! --Shannon Borg
