Customer Review: More even heating over the entire surface

My wife likes it. She's always prefered electric skillets, and uses them weekly. But she's always had do deal with uneven heating. Most of the electric skillets we've owned are hotter in the center area. The Villaware seems to heat evenly across the entire surface. More important to me, with this 16" baby, she can fry an entire chicken cut in 8 or 9 pieces (with room for more) without crowding.
